We have several programs that are offered for our high school students, starting with our Center of Excellence Summer Enrichment program. Then transitioning on to our Contingent Admit program.
Our summer enrichment program is geared for rising ninth grade through rising 12th grades, and it's a summer program. And then our Contingent Admit Program, or CAP, is for high school seniors. Those two programs will, one, give students an opportunity to learn more about the College of Pharmacy or solidify their career path into pharmacy.
I would definitely recommend Center of Excellence and even the SOAR program they have here for high school students. And I've done that with all my friends. So I have a lot of friends, I've done it as well too. And it helps you get a feel for what college life really is, as well as the workload that you can somewhat expect, as well as get a foothold into the sciences.
Pharmacy students should be interested in pursuing Pharmacy here in particularly, here at Xavier, because we have-- in my opinion a lot to offer. Our students are prepared to impact medically underserved communities once they complete the curriculum. We focus on practice readiness. We focus on team readiness. Really preparing students so once they graduate, and step out, and out of school here, that they're ready to roll and ready to move on with their career and grow in their profession.
